This website and this membership application is for ATTA, The Atlanta Team Tennis Association.  We are Atlanta's affiliate of The Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance, welcoming members regardless of sexual orientation.  We are not associated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by The Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association (ALTA).  For information regarding ALTA or to join ALTA, please visit their website at www.altatennis.org

The ATTA website (www.atta.org) has a “Members Only” section that is secure (password protected) and includes members’ names and contact information.  Unless a member informs the ATTA Membership Director, each member’s contact information shall be posted to this section.

 

ATTA and its members are required to maintain the confidentiality of other members' personal information that is made available through the Members Only section.  ATTA and its members shall neither sell nor utilize such information for any commercial or non-ATTA/tennis-related purposes.  If there is a complaint that any member has misused the membership list, such member's access to the Members Only section and membership may each be revoked.

 

I agree to receive information from ATTA at the email address given and to inform the membership director of  any changes to my personal information.

 

By becoming a new member or renewing my membership, I hereby agree to abide by the USTA and GLTA Rules, the By-laws of ATTA, and the decisions of the ATTA Board and its committees.  I agree to conduct myself in a sportsmanlike manner.  I agree that if my conduct deviates from the USTA/GLTA Rules, the By-laws of ATTA, and/or the decisions of the ATTA Board and its committees, the ATTA Board has the right to suspend or revoke my membership, without reimbursement of fees paid.  If any of the above listed rules are in conflict, the ATTA Board shall resolve the conflict in the best interest of the entire association and its resolution shall be binding.

 

Further, I agree that my membership in ATTA and my participation in any ATTA sponsored or endorsed event or activity is without assumption of responsibility of any kind by ATTA or by its directors and/or designees, or by any of the facilities, public or private, at which such functions are held.  I agree to waive any and all rights and claims for bodily and emotional injury, damage to my reputation, or any other harms that I might suffer.  I also waive any and all rights to claim from ATTA or any of the above-named organizations or individuals, damages which may arise as a result of references to me, by inclusion or exclusion, and/or photographs of me as such references which may appear on the ATTA website, the ATTA newsletter or in any other publication or media coverage of events held by the Atlanta Team Tennis Association.
